Orientation @ Florida Tech

Welcome to the Florida Tech Family!

Orientation is one of the most important, exciting, and memorable events of students’ college experience! By attending the Orientation program here at Florida Tech, students already have made one giant step towards a successful academic career. During this time, students will get to meet other students and make lifelong friends, meet professors and faculty, explore the amazing resources offered on campus, and most of all, have fun!!

Orientation is mandatory for all new students, both graduate and undergradate.

Orientation Schedule

Spring 2020

2020 Spring Orientation Schedule

  • All Domestic Students must bring some form of a picture ID and their printed Panther Pass with them to check-in.
  • All International Students must bring their passport, I-20 and their printed Panther Pass with them to check-in.
  • ALL Students (regardless of whether they have registered or not) will need to check in on Thursday. All students will be required to complete Panther Pass and bring a printed pass with them to check-in.
  • Upon arrival, students will be provided with a checklist of items that will need to be completed to ensure they are ready for classes. The process can take as little as 20 minutes or as long as five hours, depending on the status of Panther Pass.

Fall 2020 (**Mandatory for all students starting Fall 2020)

Fall 2020 Orientation will take place from August 10th - August 14th, 2020. (Information and schedules will be posted in Summer 2020)

*Attending the ENTIRE week (stated below by type of student) of New Student Orientation is MANDATORY for ALL NEW FALL students.

International Students: Check-In will take place Monday, August 10, 2020. Move-In will continue until 5pm. The International Student Reception will begin at 5pm.

Domestic Students: Check-In will take place Tuesday, August 11, 2020 between 8am-1pm. Move-In will continue until the first mandatory event at 5pm.
